If the smoke is still present than you can manually cut each injector out and see what injector is causing the issue. Injectors only have a life span of 500k miles. We have a tractor on our farm with a '92 non-electric L10 as well. We had similar problems that turned out to be a problem with the fuel pump. We did fuel pump and injectors at the same time and that helped it out a lot. Might be due to have the injectors gone through.
