The AMD Ryzen 5600U has a bigger L3 than i5 (double the size), while i5 only has 2mb bigger L2. This is why I think it's slightly better. Only thing i5 got DF wise is a slightly better l2 (but much worse l3). WebDwarf fortress uses A* pathfinding with some crude hacks to improve performance. It does not use any fancy tricks like Hierarchical Pathfinding which would reduce the CPU usage by more then 95 percent on long distances.
