WebApr 5, 2024 · There were three vertices causing the problems, all on that additional cut. The most logical thing to do was to remove the cut as it is not needed for smoothing. I went back to the first frame, and in edge select mode, selected that edge and ctrl+deleted it. I ran through the animation and the issue has disappeared. WebIf it's a hard surface object, it is perfectly fine to have triangles. However it is a good habit to stick to quads no matter what. Try deleting all the edges in the middle of the circle except the horizontal and vertical ones. Then using Mesh Tool -> Multi Cut draw new edges by connecting opposing vert until you end up just with quads.
